Turntable operator cabin

New technology is constantly being used to improve Vestergaard’s deicing equipment and expanding our leadership position within user-friendliness. Ergonomics and safety are fundamental Vestergaard principles for design as well as technology.

A close dialogue with customers has resulted in the turntable operator’s cabin. The turntable option is developed to reduce transfer time between deicing positions and eliminate the need for the operator to leave the cabin while moving the vehicle from one pad/gate to another.

Benefits of the solution are:

• Higher transfer speed with no telescope pointing forward (15 km/h)
• Better overview in crowded areas
• 180° turn of cabin in app.6 sec.
• Automatic door lock by turned cabin for safety.
