At this year’s GSE Expo, Vestergaard Company will present the latest automation capabilities of OPTIM-ICE Assisted Deicing system. While the long-term vision is fully automated deicing operations, the system already demonstrates a range of advanced functionalities that significantly reduce operator workload and enhance operational precision.
The goals are to reduce aircraft deicing fluid consumption and to increase throughput.
The safety aspect of OPTIM-ICE has been enhanced so unintended collisions between equipment and aircraft are virtually removed.
