Tank Configuration DeIcing

Elephant BETAs are typically configured with 3 tanks with a total of 8,000 liters. Tank 1 with 4.000 liters, typically water, Tank 2 with 2,000 liters, typically Type I, and Tank 3 with 2,000 liters, typically unheated Type II/IV thickened fluid. They are optimized to meet any given operational criteria, such as ADF type, tank capacity and distribution, heating time, heating method, deicing method (one-step or two-step) etc. All naturally taking into consideration the special properties of the ADF fluid in question and, most notably, serving to maintain the required viscosity levels of Type-II/-IV ADF fluids.

The typical solution can also be delivered with the first two tanks connected, if the customer is operating with a premix fluid strategy.

If customer demand is different from above, Vestergaard has a long history of delivering many different alternatives in tank configurations, larger tanks, different mix set-ups, etc.
