Vestergaard Company is pleased to announce the award of 12 BETA NG units for Integrated Deicing Services (IDS-Inland). The BETA units have just been delivered to the Philadelphia Airport and training has been completed. The units will be in full operation for the 2017/2018 winter season.
The 12 BETA units have been chosen particularly for their ability to deice wide body aircrafts.
Vestergaard BETA units were selected by IDS and the Airport Authority as offering the most cost effective and environmentally friendly deicing system option.
Brock Crocker, General Manager Vestergaard North America is quoted “IDS handles the majority of the commercial flights in Philadelphia. Vestergaard’s legendary reliability and performance will be a significant and positive change to the airport deicing operation.”

Vestergaard Company and Kalmar Motor are pleased to announce that Vestergaard Company has bought a significant share in Kalmar Motor.
Vestergaard Company’s investment in Kalmar Motor is the result of a mutual agreement between the management of both companies that the two ground support equipment manufacturers – both based in Scandinavia – can further benefit from an elaborated future cooperation.
Since January 2015, Vestergaard Company Inc. in McHenry, Illinois, USA has served as Kalmar Motor’s service partner in North America. Vestergaard’s investment in Kalmar Motor shall be seen as a desire to further strengthen what has proved to be a fruitful and mutual beneficial cooperation between the two companies.

Brynjolfur “Billi” Vestergaard, Sales Director with Vestergaard Company, has lost his life in a tragic accident that occurred outside his own home on Friday night.
Billi was involved in the family owned business since he was a child. He started as an employee with Vestergaard Company in 1980 in the production and ended as an active part of both the company’s management and sales department.
Billi’s vast knowledge of both Vestergaard company’s products, technology and – not least – the needs of all of the individual, international customers build him a unique reputation in the business.
As Billi would want Vestergaard Company will continue to operate, as a professional manufacturer and supplier of Ground Support Equipment to all our customers worldwide.
Billi leaves behind his wife, four children and three grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed.
